Tiramisù means “pick-me-up”, because it contains espresso and cocoa. Lady Fingers are soaked in a mixture of coffee, rum, and sugar. Zabaglione – layers of mascarpone cheese, egg custard, marsala, and sugar are then added followed by a sprinkle of cocoa powder. A classic Italian dessert.
